Balaji believes that decentralized finance and decentralized science, enabled by new tech stacks, will play a crucial role in building physical structures in remote locations.

He also suggests that equity investments facilitated by crypto can enable people to collectively own their newly built towns and network archipelagos, creating a form of alignment within communities that goes beyond the market and cannot be replaced by the state.
