Описание к видео FAQ: Which hand to use? Right or left hand? | Learn Basic Sign Language ASL

Which hand do I use to sign? Does it matter which hand to use? Or am I supposed to mirror you? Can I use both hands? These are some of the most frequently asked questions here on my YouTube channel so I wanted to film a video answering the questions. Click more to read more.

Although I didn’t mention in the video that you could use whichever hand you feel most comfortable using as the dominant hand in signing so long as you stick with the same hand... so even if you’re left handed, you can sign with your right hand if that’s what you feel most comfortable with.

If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment down below. :)

Quick recap of the video: Which hand do you use to sign? Usually, if you’re right handed, you use your right hand as your dominant hand in signing. The other hand is the non-dominant hand, or the supporting hand in signing. The non-dominant hand is used whenever you sign a two-handed sign, as not all signs are two-handed signs.
