The American Federation of Teachers and the National Education Association have poured nearly $50 million into left-wing political organizations, according to the parents’ rights group Defending Education.
Erika Sanzi, the Director of Outreach for Defending Education, said the groups getting this money are pushing political messaging, like gender ideology, critical race theory and anti-Israel sentiment, back into schools.
