Laurie Marlow from Australian hard rock outfit Heaven.



The band were a big part of the early 80’s Hard Rock and Heavy Metal scene in Australia.



The band toured the world with, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Mötley Crüe, Black Sabbath and Kiss for more than 4 years while being based in LA.



And now, Laurie’s got the band back together. They are about to do a run of Australian shows before heading over to Japan and Europe. There is also talk about a new album being recorded.



I spent a couple of hours with Laurie to go over his story, the origin of the band and some of the wild stories from 4 years spent on the road with some of the biggest Rock acts in the world throughout the early 1980s.
