Did you know that free lunch at school is critical to the health and well-being of the children, especially in low income areas. It was designed to help children receive adequate nutrients to give them a positive experience during learning. Research shows that children who receive free or reduced lunch may reduce the outcome of food insecurities, obesity, and overall poor health. We as parents can do our best to help our children make better choices from home. Though I make some bad ass meals, it is crucial that we continue to teach our children. Good lifestyle habits. That’s why I provide my children with no alternatives when it comes down to a healthy dinner. Let’s be real tho… YOU know Your Children BEST. Therefore, making the appropriate alternatives is OK. Utilize your child’s favorite veggies and fruits when cooking in the kitchen. But most of all, make it a lifestyle not a habit.

Salad dressing recipe

32 oz mason jar 🫙
1 c @mina olive oil
1 c neutral oil
1 tbsp Italian herbs
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp onion powder
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 fresh lemon
1 c red wine vinegar
2 tbsp beet juice

-Green and purple cabbage
-Tomatoes
-Cucumbers
-Beets
-Celery
-Chickpeas
-1/2 c feta cheese

Chicken sauté
1/4 c olive oil
2 tbsp butter
2 lb small, cubed, chicken breast @saadwholesale
2 tbsp @Mina harissa
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp paprika
1 tbsp garlic
1-2 tsp salt & pepper
1 tsp vegeta

sauté your ingredients and feel free to add any vegetables to this dish.

serve with the basmati rice that I posted.
