Whatever may be said about you, do not allow people to take control of the narrative of your personal stories. We often live up to what people think and say about ourselves and end up losing a sense of who we are.

The only person who can tell your story in the best way is yourself. Use your own words and actions to influence other's narrative about yourself. Do not let people define who you are and should be.

Alain Yav is a Congolese entrepreneur, brand builder and producer. He is CEO of the renowned Media & Advertising agency of Pygma Communications in Kinshasa, a company that he launched to positively inspire African youth with positive and innovative entertainment.

Pygma’s activities range and togeth from Advertising, PR, Digital and and they have produced such as Miss Vodacom Miss RD Congo and Vodacom’s Best of the Best, which have had nationwide success.

Outside of this, Alain has held senior positions in South Africa with Grey Advertising, Procter and Gamble (P&G) and Cadbury before returning to DRC to run Pygma Communication in January 2005.
