Upwards to the Moon is the ending theme song to 2018 Chinese television series Ashes of Love. Based on the novel Heavy Sweetness, Ash-like Frost by Dian Xian, the series premiered on Jiangsu TV starting August 2, 2018.


And Upwards to the Moon is sung by Sa Dingding who is a Chinese folk singer and songwriter. She is of mixed Han Chinese and Mongol ancestry, and sings in languages including Mandarin Chinese, Sanskrit, Standard Tibetan, as well as an imaginary self-created language to evoke the emotions in her songs.
