Limited to only 25 units world-wide, the Gibson Custom Shop 1964 SG Special Tony Iommi “Monkey” is an exact replica of the legendary guitar Tony used in the early years of Black Sabbath. And when we say exact, we're not kidding — it's accurate even down to every ding and scratch!

The original “Monkey” was a 1964 SG special that went through some heavy modifications, starting with the lacquered Rosewood fretboard. Its Wraparound bridge was converted to a Tune-o-Matic and back again; Iommi also added a “0 fret” and a set of custom hand-made P90 pickups, making the "Monkey" a pretty special guitar indeed!

This guitar emanates nothing but pure classic heavy-metal tones. Drop the tuning a couple steps, plug into a loud British style amp, and you'll immediately find yourself in Sabbath territory! Prosthetic fingerpads and clinically insane lead singer sold separately.
