Bio - Andrew Wyatt
Andrew Wyatt is the assistant director of music at Truro Cathedral, Director of the St Mary’s Singers and an Honorary Membership of Birmingham Conservatoire. Andrew plays the famous Father Willis organ for services and recitals and regularly directs the cathedral choirs in rehearsals and services. Educated at Aldenham School, he studied organ with Andrew Parnell and gained an Entrance Scholarship to Birmingham Conservatoire where his organ teachers were David Saint and Henry Fairs. Working concurrently with his four-year course, Andrew held the organ scholarship at St Philip’s Cathedral in Birmingham. After holding the organ scholarship at Canterbury Cathedral and being awarded the Associateship of the Royal College of Organists, Andrew became assistant organist at Hexham Abbey in September 2012 before being appointed assistant organist and later assistant director of music at Chester Cathedral in 2015.

Bio - Jeremy Wan
Jeremy Wan is an organist, saxophonist and composer. He is currently the organ scholar at Truro Cathedral, having previously occupied the same post at Guildford Cathedral (2023-2024). Jeremy recently completed postgraduate studies at the University of Glasgow with a distinction in Musicology under the supervision of John Butt. During his time in Glasgow, Jeremy studied under Kevin Bowyer whilst serving as organ scholar, accompanying the University Chapel Choir in their regular services, radio broadcasts and tours. He was also the director of music at All Saints, Bearsden. As an accompanist, Jeremy has worked with the Scottish Opera, Glasgow Cathedral Choral Society, and the University’s Choral Societies. He also appears regularly as a recitalist and has performed in many venues including the Kelvingrove Art Gallery. In his free time, Jeremy enjoys solving puzzles and cooking.

The series runs from March to October and each recital lasts around 45 minutes. There is no charge to attend or listen to these concerts, and the cathedral only asks that if you are able, you consider making a donation - the income generated by the generosity of both the audience and artists (who play for free) directly supports music at the cathedral and the ability to continue to offer such community events.
