Voice actors Tōru Furuya, Shunsuke Takeuchi, Toshio Furukawa, Megumi Han, Ken Narita, Fū Hirohara, and director Yoshiyuki Tomino participated in the premiere event and special early screening for the latest installment in the "Gundam" series held in Tokyo on the 18th. They celebrated the completion of the film "Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan's Island," which is set to be released on June 3rd.

The movie revitalizes Episode 15 from the original "Mobile Suit Gundam" series that aired in 1979 titled “Cucuruz Doan’s Island.” This particular episode had not been depicted even in a trilogy of theatrical releases since its broadcast and is still referred to as a legendary episode. Now, after four decades following the theatrical release of "Mobile Suit Gundam III: Encounters in Space,” this eagerly anticipated adaptation brings a storied chapter to cinema audiences.

Ken Narita has inherited the role of Bright Noa from Hiroyuki Suzuoki who has since passed away. Narita reflected on his experience stating: “The weight of these 40 years and numerous moving scenes from this work truly made me feel like I could be part of 'Gundam' family.”
