Ashton Telecaster with vintage fender pickups & EMG PA2 preamp

This demo is of my Ashton Telecaster. I have fitted it with Vintage USA Fender pickups. These give it a real tele bite and twang, they are modeled on the original 50's Tele. These come standard in 52 reissue Teles and some of the custom shop Teles.
Played through a Vox AC15H1TV combo. Pedals used are a Regax OD7, which is a tube screamer clone, and a G2D Custom overdrive.
I went one step further and added an EMG PA2 preamp booster, this is very handy when you need that extra punch for a solo or you just want to keep up with a Les Paul. It realy livens this guitar up, and i have found that it sounds best with it on all the time.
The neck is fantastic and kinda reminds me of an Ibanez RG neck, very slim and fast with a flat fretboard with wide frets. The body is heavy and sits well when playing live, similar to my Les Paul. It is finished off with a white binding to which looks good. It is way better than I expected and it will be a guitar I regret selling but with the ressesion and all, I cant afford to keep all of my badys and this drew the short straw.
