Q. 23: Correction Alert:

There's a treatment called 'Cobalt Therapy' where radioactive cobalt-60 isotopes were used to treat conditions such as cancer. But that was more prevalent in the 20th century during WWII era and now being replaced with upgraded techniques.

On the otherhand, Radioactive iodine (RAI, also called I-131) is an effective treatment for thyroid cancer patients considering Iodine's ability to kill cancer cells in thyroid gland.

In the options, Iodine 127 was mentioned but we misconceive that for Iodine 131. Sorry for the inconvenience. The correct ans will be option C.
