What is Troitsky's line? An instructive endgame lecture

We all know that two knights versus the lone king is a theoretical draw. Two knights cannot checkmate opponent's king. However if you give your opponent a pawn i.e two knights versus king+pawn, things are much different. Mating possibilities arise because instead of stalemate the side with just the king has to push his pawn.

A similar scenario took place at the 9th round of the Goa GM International 2018 in group B on the fifth board. Pankaj Sharma (1947) was playing against Anwar NK (1764). It was a game from which you can learn a lot.
