Natural vs induced labor: what they don’t tell you

Описание к видео Natural vs induced labor: what they don’t tell you

Have you ever asked yourself, if an induced labor is the same as labor that starts spontaneously? In this video, Nathalie Kaufmann, Pregnancy and Birth Consultant and TCM Therapist, and Mathias Ritter, Researcher and Science Geek, discuss what the differences are between a natural and an induced labor.
First, they explain the differences between a natural and an induced labor in regard to the intensity of the contractions. They also discuss in how far your body is able to support you with the pain, depending on if your labor was induced or started spontaneously.
Next, they explain the differences between a natural and an induced labor regarding your own and your birth partner’s ability to support you during your delivery – in terms of labor positions or the management of labor pain, such as hydrotherapy.
And finally, they also discuss if there is a difference between labor that has been NATURALLY induced and labor that has been MEDICALLY induced.
