For thousands of years, countries have consistently fought for freedom. Chapters 8-10 of 1 Corinthians is a discourse that centers around the issue of whether or not we have the freedom to eat meat that has been sacrificed to idols. Now, obviously, we don't have this issue surrounding us too much anymore, but the issue of freedom or Christian liberty is still a relevant issue for us. Paul tells us in these chapters just what the liberties and responsibilities of believers in our society today are.
