Invincible: Every Difference Between The Show And The Comics

Описание к видео Invincible: Every Difference Between The Show And The Comics

As adaptations go, Amazon Prime’s Invincible is very close and faithful to the comic books that it is adapting. This is probably in part down to the fact that Robert Kirkman who created the comics (and also created The Walking Dead) is working on the show and to bring his vision authentically to life. This means that Battle Beast is still just as scary, Mark still is really over his head and Omni-Man still is a massive douche. But even so, that doesn’t mean that the show and the comic books are like for like and there are notable changes. As time has gone on, Kirkman has seemingly made changes to the text to keep it relevant to the times, but has also made some changes to things that he regrets or wishes he had put in there the first time of asking.

That’s why in this video we are going to take a look at every difference between the Invincible animated series and the comics. Including the series changing/fast tracking/altering the timeline, omitting classic and fan favorite characters due to licensing agreements, omitting a full Omni-Man story arc, killing off a character that actually has a longer run in the comics to downplaying a full story arc to one brief scene in an episode. Get ready to return to the violent but addictive world of Invincible as we take a look at all of the major changes!
