Nagoke is the famous village of Punjab. Many of the famous leaders of the punjab during the time of AKALI MORCHAS were from the NAGOKE. They fought for the freedom of india and also the freedom of Gurdwaras from the Mhants and play an important role to organize the sikhs around the whole world to make a common organization(shiromani gurdwara parbandak commetie).

Later in 8th and 9th decade of the 20th century many of the persons from nagoke join the khalistani movement.

Because of all these Nagoke is always famous for religious activities.Ther are 13 gurdwars in this village and the main gurdwara is Ber sahib sahib is on the main road out side of the village.
Nagoke is divided into the four parts.patti billian di, patti dafer ki, patti jaso ki, patti lakhi ki.
maily two sub caste of the the jatts live in this village.
