Today I am sharing an easy and quick recipe for Sindhi Aloo Fry. You can make these aloos with dal chawal (dal and rice), Sahi bhaji (Palak chana dal), pulao raita, with kheer poori, shrikhand poori or with aamras poori. You can also serve these fried potatoes for breakfast with curd and Sindhi koki. These are perfect for tiffins and traveling. For Green Dabba Perfection Tips watch the video till the end.
Ingredients
1. Potatoes 4 medium-sized
2. Salt 1 tsp
3. Red chilli powder 1 tsp
4. Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
5. Coriander powder 1 & 1/2 tsp
6. Oil for frying.
Method
1. Peel off the potatoes, wash them and cut them into small cubes.
2. Add salt to the potato cubes and mix well.
3. Heat oil in a kadhai, and put potato cubes in the hot oil.
4. Let them fry on high flame for 1- 2 minutes.
5. Set the flame as low- to medium, turn the potato cubes, cover the kadhai and let them cook for 2-3 minutes or till the potatoes become somewhat soft.
6. Now high the flame, remove the lid and turn them.
7. Now let them fry on high flame till they turn crispy. Turn the potatoes occasionally.
8. Take out the fried potatoes.
9. Now take out all the oil from the kadhai.
10. Put the kadhai on the gas on low flame, add fried potato cubes, add spices and mix well.
11. Switch off the flame.
Yummy, crispy and spicy Sindhi Aloo Fry is ready to enjoy!!
