"Arlo Needs Glasses" - A Fun Story Designed to Help Children Who Have or Need Glasses

Does your child need glasses? This book will help kids understand the need for glasses. Barney Saltzberg talks about "Arlo Needs Glasses" on this edition of "The Kids' Bookshelf." "Arlo Needs Glasses" is an inspiring and entertaining story for every child who needs or wears glasses. When Arlo can't see, he can't play catch and he can't read, so he goes to have an eye exam. The book explains why glasses are needed, describes a trip to the optometrist, and even shows Arlo, the dog, picking out a pair of glasses.

Barney Saltzberg is the author-illustrator of many children’s books including “Beautiful Oops!”, the “Kisses” series, “Peekaboo,” “Crazy Hair Day,” and “Good Egg.” He is also a singer-songwriter who has written tunes for the PBS show "Arthur" and continues to perform music for children.
