Development of earthworms in soil by using kitchen waste.Earthworms are farmers friends because they improve the quality of soil like water holding capacity,moisture and content by burrowing into the soil and making it loose and porous.
You may also consider starting your own composting project that uses the following types of waste.
1) vegetable waste,fruit scraps,coffee grounds and filters.

2)Food leftover:

A)Egg shells
B)Tea bags
C)Nut shells

3)Browns ,dead leaves,wood chips,fire place ash

4)Recyclable materials, news paper and papers

METHOD:
Place your composed bin in a dry partial shady spot in your backyard and make sure it gets partial sunlight .

Take small amount of garden soil which is semi-composed .Apply dry kitchen waste to soil ,spread evenly and pour rice water and mix well.
After adding rice water ,leave the container aside for another 4 days.
5th day ,put some holes on top of the soil for good aeration. Repeat the process for 5 times with 5 days regular interval.
After 5th time completion, leave the bin for atleast 20 days without any disturbances.
You may put some holes and sprinkle some rice water on top of the soil for every 4 days once.


After 45 days ,the result was amazing .You can get healthy 6 inches lengthy earthworms in compost bin.
