Mt Picton Walk (again!)

Two years to the day since my first attempt at Mt Picton, Tasmania, it was third time lucky, as I finally made it to the elusive summit. It was a tremendous walk with picturesque, wild, lakes and tarns, and sensational 360 degree views. The views are up there with some of the best in southwest Tassie. It was a pretty long daytrip for us, we finished at 8pm after setting off about 11 hours earlier. Most parties would probably be a little quicker though, we spent a lot of time on the summit and didn't rush on the way up.
