GET MURK'D! Legacy Esper Murktide Control with Frog, Tamiyo, and Swords to Plowshares MTG

We're getting the best of both worlds: white for removal and black for creatures.

That's right – this Murktide Control deck plays 6 black cards, 6 white cards, and mostly blue cards. So even though it's a 3-color deck with a single basic, we can still get away with playing Harbinger of the Seas against Eldrazi.

The sideboard plan is simple: a pile for Eldrazi (3 Consigns and 2 Harbingers), a pile for Reanimator (3 Surgicals and a Containment Priest), and a pile for Painter (2 blasts and a null rod). We have Lavinia and 2 Bowmasters in case we're up against control mirrors or blue-based combo.

My theory-crafted game plan goes like this: disrupt our opponent with wastelands and soft permissions until we have 5 cards in our graveyard. Murktide. Disrupt some more. Re-Murktide.

We can also protect a Tamiyo or a Psychic Frog. These are more delicate (a lot of fatal pushes running around right now). But with some well timed counterspells, they can get us to the finish line.

Note the single Brazen Borrower. This is here in case we run into Blood Moon, as it's a way for us to still win off of Tamiyo's ultimate (by getting colored mana back long enough to cast a Murktide). And Brazen Borrower is also a castable threat when we have Harbinger of the Seas out. (I've won several games with Harbinger + Borrower against Eldrazi in the past.)

This league should be fun. I'm seriously considering a deck like this for Eternal Weekend, as Plow is strong against reanimator, and Murktide is strong against non-white decks – which is most of the meta.
