Our first time in Portugal!

Keep following to see our impression of the westcoast🫶🏼

So here is our initial for the famous Algarve:

✨ Faro
- old town
- forum algarve (amazing place for shopping!:)
- nature park ria formosa (ludo trail walk)

✨Albufeira
- praia dos arrifes
- catwalk (during the heat the cats won’t spend much time there
- praia da gale
- albufeira old town (cute souvenir shops)
- the strip (party quarter; mostly bars)
- old town party (party quarter everywhere in the old town during each night)

✨Funcho
- nature park a little more inside the country: you need a car
- fun for off-roading and pretty landscapes

✨Silves
- pretty old town to stroll around
- had the best pastel de nata in the caffee
- castelo is a nice viewpoint

✨ Carvoeiro
- benagil caves: you can kayak or go by boat but there are so many people! it won‘t look like in the pictures because there is no space!
- 7 hanging valleys walk: start praia da marina - praia do vale centaines (wear good shoes & don’t be afraid of heights! also be careful, we wouldn’t recommend going there with kids!)
- caroveiro board walk to algar seco rocks (there is a famous restaurant but the views from there aren’t great, also there are many tourists looking for this one famous photo spot)
- there are many famous photo spots but trust me: just wander around and you will find just as pretty spots!

✨Lagos
- boardwalk (really easy, many tourists, it has some cute beaches on the way)
- ponta de piedade (the point on the cliffs in lagos just at the end of the boardwalk: little space to go down to the waters and many people! you can go on boats or kayaks there)
- praia dos estudantes (one of lagos famous beaches)
- old town lagos (many good restaurants)
- fishermans trail (a trail that you can walk up to sines! you can obviously also only do some parts of it)

✨Burgau
- mini-santorini
- really small but scenic
- cute beach

✨Sagres
- farol de sagres (historical building where you can do a walk, it has many tourists and the views aren’t better than anywhere else in this space;)
- cape de st vincent (really nice spot between the atlantic and the Mediterranean sea)
- really windy!
- sagres has a cute town as well but nothing we haven’t seen before
✨Arrifana

- surfer town
- small but scenic and sporty
- awesome viewpoints
- windy but great waves

✨Westcoast
- there are too many cute beaches and small towns to all write down: the best is: go by car and just visit all the beaches and beach towns you desire!
- here are some pretty ones we saw:
- praia da castelejo
- praia da cordoma
- praia da monte clerigo
- praia de amoreia
- praia de odeceixe
- milfontes
- porto covo
