Upgrading Your E-bike To Cable/hydraulic Brakes.

Описание к видео Upgrading Your E-bike To Cable/hydraulic Brakes.

I decided to change the cable operated calipers on my ENGWE EP-2 e-bike, for a set of Zoom Xtech HB100 ones, as although the original brakes worked fine, they were quite noisy when applied. The squealing was really annoying me. These ones are hydraulic but cable operated, so make the change over pretty easy. I will see how these hold up over time, eventually may go for full hydraulic, but they will need to have the motor cut out switch in the levers.
They are definitely quieter on my bike, and pull up shaper, an all round improvement really.
I think for everyday use, they will perform fine, although I wouldn't recommend them for heavy use where they would get hot. I can't imagine the seals are of the highest quality. But for the price they seem decent.
