Sikorsky S-76. S-76 helicopters are medium-range, all-weather, tactical apprehension aircraft used by CBP's Air and Marine Operations to protect the American public from threats of terrorism and drug smuggling, and to enforce airspace security over critical venues.

While not exclusively ICE's domain, CBP (Customs and Border Protection) uses various aircraft, including helicopters, for border security and surveillance. For example, the Sikorsky S-76 helicopter is used by CBP's Air and Marine Operations.

A couple hundred protesters are facing off against U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents during a massive federal action underway as of 3:20 p.m. on July 10 in the 600 block of Laguna Road in Camarillo.

An irritant via canisters has been deployed in front of the crowd of people, according to Noah Frost / VCStringer, who is on scene.

Frost reported that he and other protesters have been impacted by "several rounds in both white and orange" on the "skirmish line," stating it was either "pepper spray or tear gas" from "less-than lethal-launchers."

Mainly my eyes burning and hard to breathe," Frost said of the effect. "A protester lent me their water to wash my eyes."

Ventura County Sheriff Jim Fryhoff told the Ojai Valley News | Ventura County Sun that the Sheriff’s Office was notified Thursday morning that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security was conducting a search warrant operation at a farm in Camarillo.

U.S. Customs and Border Patrol is an agency of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Fryhoff confirmed that as of noon on July 10, no one from the Ventura County Sheriff's Office was at the scene.

More than 20 military-style vehicles and a helicopter are involved, according to one eye witness. At around 2 p.m., more unmarked military vehicles arrived to the scene.

At least two ambulances are on scene, according to Frost.

Frost also shared that a small, blue-tipped rubber bullet landed in his vehicle as he was downloading photographs.

The action began at approximately 11:20 a.m.

The road is closed on either side of the large cannabis greenhouse facility on in the 600 block of Laguna Road, according to those on scene.

The facility is owned by Glass House Camarillo Cultivation LLC, a grower, processor and distributor of cannabis.

A second federal action has been reported in Carpinteria near the Cate School.
