Testing a 3d printed repeating crossbow (Slinghammer) with 80 lbs limbs and steelballs

Описание к видео Testing a 3d printed repeating crossbow (Slinghammer) with 80 lbs limbs and steelballs

The Slinghammer - a 3d printed repeating crossbow for different sizes of steelballs.

We like shooting with bow and arrow in our backyard (which is really huge and surrounded by fields). I also want to buy a repeating crossbow, so I was watching several review videos. I landed on a video of Jörg Sprave's Slingshot Channel ‪@Slingshotchannel‬ where he is showing a 3d printed crossbow. (And which has enjoyable content at least for me - großes Lob und Danke Jörg, solltest Du das jemals lesen, Grüße aus Österreich)
I looked it up un Cults3d and was totally hooked. A few clicks and Euros later the files were mine. Huge shoutout to Dondipper on Cults3d, great work.

I built it in the 10mm steelball version (materials below) and tested it with 9,5mm steelballs and it totally blew my mind. Great quality and great power.

General advice:
- use something to make the string glide like string wax or silicon spray
- wear safety glasses. If that steelballs hit anything hard, they will bounce back
- be aware that there is no locking mechanism, so only cock it, when you are going to shoot
