Giant Castor Oil Plants (End Of Year Update)

In this video I give an end of year tour of my Castor oil plants. This year I have grown two varieties, Ricinus communis 'Impala' and Ricinus communis 'Zanzibarensis'. Impala has dark purple leaves with showy bright red seed pods whereas Zanzibarensis is a giant variety with huge leaves which have a slight blue tint to them. Both varieties have grown well with my largest plant reaching well over two meters in height.
