DCI Motorsports / John House Pontiac 455 Ram Air 5 pump gas street Beast

Описание к видео DCI Motorsports / John House Pontiac 455 Ram Air 5 pump gas street Beast

This is a 1974 factory 2 bolt main 455 block with forged internals. It still sports the factory 4.21" stroke, with a .030" over 4.181 bore. Compression is just over 10-1 to keep it pump gas friendly. The camshaft is a custom ground LSM billet hydraulic roller profile with 250 degree's @ .050" intake, 259 @ .050" exhaust with a 109 lobe separation. We used a Howard's direct pin oiler solid roller lifter for endurance on the street. Because of the hydraulic lobe profile, lifter adjustment is minimal and is only required around every 8,000 to 10,000 miles. So for as little as these vehicles get driven maybe once in in its life time. You can see in the video that we have fuel injectors in the runners of the intake. That's because we are going to be using an Edelbrock Pro Flow 4 EFI system for this build when installed in the vehicle. We have not dynoed this combo yet, but other combos with our DCI RA5 heads similar to this one have made 700+ HP on pump gas. The DCI Motorsports RA5 heads on this engine are as cast with just a bowl blend and gasket match. They flow right at 400 CFM at max lift and have very efficient ports for their size and volume.
