It’s go, go, go! The 2024 Hertz FIM Trial World Championship got under way in mid-May with the Taisei Rotec TrialGP of Japan at the Mobility Resort Motegi where reigning TrialGP champion Toni Bou (Montesa) conquered the steep, slippery bankings and imposing rock steps to get his title defence off to a dominant double win. Defending TrialGP Women champion Emma Bristow (Sherco) matched Bou win-for-win to kick off her campaign for a tenth title in eleven years with maximum points and history was made on day one in the Trial2 class with Sondre Haga (GASGAS) claiming the first-ever victory at this level for an electric machine before Dan Peace (Sherco) took control of the class on day two.
