ଦଶହରା ସ୍ପେଶାଲ ଆରିସା ପିଠା / Perfect Arisa Pitha / Arisa Pitha Odia

Ingredients-
Rice - 1/2 kg
sugar -250 gm
boiled milk
cardamom powder -1/2 tsp
ghee - 3 tbsp
sesame seeds
oil for deep-fry


Soak 1/2kg rice ( new rice) for 24 hours
Please change the water atleast 2 times during this
24 hours.
After 24 hours strain the water.
Then spread the rice on cotton cloth & leave to dry for 1 hour
Then grind the rice to fine powder & strain it using strainer
Grind 250gms of sugar to powder
Then strain the sugar powder.
Mix the strained rice powder & sugar powder
Add cardamom powder & 2tbsp Ghee
Mix it well.
Add boiled milk ( cool to room temperature) slowly spoon by spoon ( not at once) .
Make a smooth dough.
Cover the dough & let it rest for 20 minutes.


After 20 minutes add 1 tbsp ghee to smooth the dough & mix well
Make a lemon size round ball & roll the ball over sesame seeds.
Then roll the ball between two palms and then press to flatten it.

Then deep-fry in medium hot oil
