In this Let’s Play series, we’re trying to survive on a hostile RimWorld as the good and bad alike come at us, as determined by the Randy Random AI storyteller. Right now, we’re just kind of in a holding pattern waiting for something to happen. We’re low on food, low on silver, and low on happiness, but we’re getting a bit fuller on people, at least. Two — count them, TWO! — more colonists join us in this episode.

What else happens? Well, a few bad things. Some lighting causes fires, and some boomrats blow up. So that’s kind of bad. But, Randy gives us a LOT of cargo pods. And someone throws a party. I mean. . . really, Randy is treating us pretty dang nice today! It almost makes me worry that he’s softening us up for something further!

But who are these new people? Well, one is Acacia. Like Kirill, she was a model before coming to join us. Unlike Kirill, Art isn’t her thang. Like, at all. Like, she cannot do it. At all.

What can she do? Hunt. And handle. And, um. . . put out fires? Read books? Look through the telescope? Eat our food and drink our beer? (She gets on that one pretty quickly!) Get hit on by all our dude colonists? Yup, sounds about right to me.

Our OTHER new recruit is Upgrade, the crash-lander who, erm, crash-landed a few episodes ago. Finally, he comes around and decides to join us. But who IS he? Well, for that you’ll just have to come back to Crescent Canyon NEXT time, to find out!
