"Hora Martisorului" - Trio Dinicu

The Trio Dinicu is named after the Romanian virtuoso violinist and composer Grigoras Ionica Dinicu. Based in Los Angeles, the group combines the forces of three world class musicians: Luanne Homzy on violin, Tommy Davy on guitar and Frank Anastasio on double bass and vocals. Their first album, "Trio Dinicu: Live in Los Angeles" was released at Djangofest Northwest in Washington in September 2013, and is available at djangoguitars.com and for download on iTunes. Today they perform "Dobri Dien Ramale" (comp. Romani 'Gypsy' Hymn) and "Hora Mortiscruli" (comp. Grigoras Dinicu).
