Extra ramble / disclaimer:
I've wanted to touch on the subject of depression for a while but have held off because I wanted to avoid fetishising / clickbaiting such a serious topic. In lieu I've opted for more general comfort audios that can still help without directly focussing on any particular situation or circumstance. This one is a bit more direct in its tone however, so fair warning if you're sensitive to such topics.

I'm obviously not a therapist, nor can I possibly understand everyone's personal situations. I'm just a guy on the internet, trying his best to maybe say some words that can hit home the way you might need them to. Thus, while I did try to script the majority of this audio carefully, a lot of my advice and sentiments is just my own personal take on dealing with this kind of thing. I'm sure it won't apply to everyone, so please take things with a grain of salt, try and focus on the overall sentiment.

I recently lost a dear friend to actions surrounding this topic, and I can only emphasise the importance of reaching out to your friends and family if you need to talk. Professional help is more accessible than ever these days as well, so give it a shot if you're really reaching that tipping point. That being said, I firmly believe that your strongest ally in this kind of thing is yourself, so don't neglect listening to your own noggin' and giving your body and mind the self-care they need too.
