I am aware there are also non-expat mothers living similar situations. Anyways, I just want to make you aware that motherhood was not supposed to be like this. The so called village (aka support network) needed to raise the child, is very true and needed. Where you live or on the other side of the planet earth. And if mothers do not feel understood on their ways, don't have their people (family) around, neither another support network, feeling loss of ‘old identity’, invisible, lonely, voiceless, reduced to their new mom status, overwhelmed and losing control is just way too much!
