Unstick a stuck brake caliper pin -- 1994-1996 Chevy Impala SS, Caprice 9C1

Let's unstick a stuck rear disc brake caliper pin on a 1994 Chevy Caprice 9C1. Tips and tricks are offered along the way.

This vehicle will need a full rear brake job soon, including a parking brake rebuild. Therefore this caliper pin repair is only temporary but will get the car back on the road.

Helpful information:
Caliper pin bolt hex size: 15mm
Caliper pin hex size: 17mm
Caliper pin bolt torque: 23 foot pounds (31 Nm)
Wheel lug nut hex size: 3/4" (19mm)
Wheel lug nut torque: 100 foot pounds (135 Nm)
