The Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) is on, and so are some unique shows.

Did you know that an incredible show put up by drones happens daily in Dubai? Well, drones take flight and light up the night sky with stories twice a day. What's more, it's free!

Bluewaters Island and The Beach opposite JBR host the Dubai Shopping Festival Drone Light Show.

"Enjoy 45 days of a high-tech production celebrating the Dubai Shopping Festival, with two themed shows a day," Visit Dubai said. "Dazzling and delighting every night, the Dubai Shopping Festival Drone Light Show starts at 7pm and 9.30pm."

Dubai Shopping Festival Drone Light Show is something you’ll have to see to believe, as technology and art come together to create something truly unique. The perfectly choreographed devices swiftly transform to create visual representations of landmarks, logos, and even the UAE’s three-finger salute.


Blue Waters Island:

Located across the water from Dubai Marina, Bluewaters Island is split into different areas across residential, retail, leisure and entertainment, hotels and beach clubs. The record-breaking Ain Dubai or ‘Dubai Eye’ is the centrepiece of the lifestyle destination, which is home to more than 200 retail and dining concepts.

The island is also home to Caesar’s Palace, a luxurious lifestyle resort with a range of accommodation types and dining venues. Within the ultra-luxe hub, you’ll find the incredibly popular Cove Beach lounge, entertaining guests throughout the week and ideal for sunset mingling.

From Jumeirah Beach Residence you can take a stroll across the pedestrian link bridge. The lovely walk is less than 300 metres and a convenient way to travel between The Beach and Bluewaters. You’ll even find a monorail system to travel to and from the Bluewaters leisure hub to Dubai’s Metro stations.

DUBAI AIN:

Located on Bluewaters Island, Ain Dubai adds one more item to the list of world records to be broken by Dubai. Accessible from the Island, the Ferris wheel design is bordered by shopping malls, restaurants, residences and a souk.

The giant Ferris wheel stands at a staggering height of 210m making it the highest of its kind in the world. It's located off the popular Jumeirah Beach Residences (JBR) beachfront and is set to offer 360-degree views of the Dubai skyline.

Ain Dubai showcases Dubai's beautiful coastline and Dubai Marina's impressive skyline, as well as views of the city's famous landmarks such as Burj Al Arab, Palm Jumeirah and the Burj Khalifa. Its base will serve as an entertainment zone with a large LED screen mounted on the wheel.
