Heart Patients/Cardiac patients are afraid once they are informed that they need to undergo Bypass surgery /stent or angioplasty at the earliest for their heart vessels blockages. Once this dreaded news is delivered to the patients, most of the them immediately start looking for a non surgical, alternative treatment for bypass surgery or angioplasty. Vaso-Meditech EECP treatment is also called as Natural Bypass is alternative to Bypass surgery/Stent and has been shown to improve new blood vessels around the blocked artery naturally. So the blockages are not needed to be removed but it is made irrelevant, since new blood flow can bypass these blocked artery naturally.

At the same time patients should remember Bypass surgery and angioplasty are unavoidable only when the patients become unstable. However many patients who are stable are unnecessarily advised for Bypass surgery and angioplasty. Now another approved new treatment option in cardiology, that is the Vaso-Meditech Enhanced External Counter pulsation (EECP) treatment can replace Bypass and angioplasty in these patients. EECP treatment is non surgical, like what the patients want, It is safe and It is well validated by science with evidence, so they are undergoing a prove,Cost effective treatment, which is a major blessing for many patients when compared to Bypass surgery.

Transcription of video: Sometimes patient come to the cardiology consultation, stating that they undergone for an angiogram and they identified two blocks and there cardiologist who has attended advice them to go for a stenting .So they want to know second opinion that stenting is a safe procedure, ie can I undergo stenting ? Well, putting the stent is actually opening the vessels and putting a wire mesh into your blocked artery. So the blockage is actually compressed against the vessel wall. By putting the stent we can able to restore the blood supply, at the same time the patient should understand, once they put an stent, they have to be on lifelong medications to prevent the stent closing again. Infact many times if they put a bare mental stent .In 30-40% of the patient within 6 months or in 1 year this stent can close again, causing the same symptoms again. Sometimes when they use drug eluding stent, the chance of this stent to get thrombosis or immediately they form a clot and can cause a heart attack in 3-4% in 1 year .So these are the complication of the stent. So, unless it is absolute required otherwise putting a stent would not be favorable option for patient with coronary artery disease.
