Wales’ weirdest football club | MISFITS AND SCUMBAGS: The Llantwit Major Story

Llantwit Major AFC have become renowned across Welsh football for their antics on and off the pitch. A double promotion, a league title, Mr. Blobby and Boca Juniors inspired kits, a notorious Twitter account and for the first time ever, a foray into European football.

This short documentary film follows the club as they embark on their first ever FENIX Trophy campaign whilst also battling for survival in the Cymru South.

Directed by Greg Caine and Charlie Phillips and produced by Teras for Alternative Wales, 'Misfits and Scumbags: The Llantwit Major Story' tells the story of how a bunch of self-proclaimed misfits and scumbags continue to defy the odds despite everything chucked their way.
