Careers in Victim Advocacy

This interactive webinar will provide veterans and dependents with key strategies for pursuing the highly “portable” and rewarding career of victim advocacy. A growing field, victim advocates are professionals trained to support victims of crime. Victim advocates serve in a wide variety of organizations, including throughout the military, criminal justice system, and community organizations such as sexual assault, domestic violence, and child welfare agencies, among others. During the webinar, participants will learn job search strategies; desired qualifications; and tools for building resumes and networking in the growing field of victim assistance.
