It works, depending on the dog
With its triple flaps, this doggie door seems to be very weather-tight. It is magnetized across the bottom, so whenever it’s used, it snaps shut behind the dogs. There is a slide-in door you can use if you either don’t want the dogs to go out or unwanted critters to come in.

We have two dogs—a 6-yr-old miniature Schnauzer (Barney) and a 1-yr-old Cavalier King Charles (Charlie). Barney had used a doggie door for several years at a kennel, so he started using it after a day or so. Charlie will paw at it, but still hasn’t gone through it unless we open it for him. I’ve tried treats and about everything else I know to do, so I’m hoping he’ll eventually get brave enough to use it. I would definitely recommend this vs. one with just a single plastic flap.
