One of the most majestic compositions of Nadajyoti Muthuswami Dikshitar is Ranganayakam in the raga Nayaki. If one needed to learn how to sing the raga Nayaki, learning this composition would give an opportunity to learn and later improvise on a plenty of phrases of the raga. This is definitely one of my favourites of the composer, simply because of its grandeur in terms of description, usage of the raga's phrases and the wonderful gait, befitting the deity.
