As mentioned earlier, the newly launched Samsung A8s comes with the Infinity-O display and it is first to adopt this display concept. The Samsung Galaxy A8s display has a punched hole to accommodate the front camera and all the necessary sensors. This was Samsung’s attempted to kill the trend of notch on the display and to incorporate a higher screen to body ratio.

Talking about the Samsung Galaxy A8s specification, the handset comes with a triple camera setup at the back just like its sibling, the Galaxy A7 2018. But unlike the A7 2018, the Samsung Galaxy A8s camera comprises of a 24MP primary shooter backed by a 10MP telephoto camera and a 5MP depth-sensing camera. So in addition to capturing daylight and lowlight images, you can also capture portrait images and the images with 2x optical zooming. And talking about the front camera, the 6.7mm punch hole on the front houses the 24MP selfie snapper.

Continuing with the Samsung Galaxy A8s specs, the phone is equipped with a 6.4-inch display on the front. The contents on the screen will surely look sharp at the Full-HD+ resolution. However, it won’t be as vibrant as a typical Samsung smartphones since this one does not come with the Super AMOLED display.

Talking about the Samsung Galaxy A8s battery, the phone packs in a decent-sized 3400mAh battery. And to accelerate the charging speed, Samsung has also facilitated the handset with an adaptive fast charging support. Samsung Galaxy A8s price and the Samsung Galaxy A8s release date has not been revealed yet. But looking at the specs, we can expect it to cost less than $500. And at that price, we are getting a smartphone with IP68 certified smartphone, that’s great right? However, there is no 3.5mm headphone jack, which is the sad part. We are not still sure if Samsung will provide USB Type-C to 3.5mm headphone jack in the box. But we will surely tell you about it after doing the Samsung Galaxy A8s unboxing.

On the performance front, the phone comes with Snapdragon 710 chipset with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM. The phone also has a 128GB of onboard storage, which can be expanded up to 512GB. With this hardware setup, Samsung Galaxy A8s PUBG experience can be expected to be very fluid with any sorts of lags and stutters. But since the Samsung Galaxy A8s price in India is yet unknown, the amount of money you are spending to play PUBG would have play a major role here.

Nonetheless, the phone looks really great. If the device is price right, it can be a worthy purchase in 2019. But since we haven’t performed the Samsung Galaxy A8s review, we would like to keep the verdict to ourselves until we perform an in-depth review
