Taking great photos of everyday objects or foods is one thing but being able to turn them into something extraordinary is a skill in itself! Join photographer Scott Choucino as he invites you into his studio from the comfort of your own home to share his secrets and expertise on how you can take your own extraordinary photos of ordinary, everyday things.
Scott will also talk you through the importance of colour control to ensure you get the correct reproduction of images and the maximum tonal range from your photographs.

MAKING THE ORDINARY EXTRAORDINARY – RETOUCHING

For the second part of our masterclass, Scott will delve into the images captured from the first session, sharing his insights into image selection and, most importantly, how he takes his photo to the next level. In this part, Scott will cover:
• Image selection
• Understanding the need for a colour-critical monitor
• Calibration of the monitor using the Calibrite ColorChecker Display Pro
• Controlling colour workflow using the Calibrite ColorChecker Passport Photo
• Editing tips and tricks

During this session, Scott will also walk you through his preferred edits on the RAW images we shared with you and his explanations and tips on achieving perfect colours.
