Situation:

With the Prevlaka EWR station destroyed, operations to defeat the Yugoslavian air defence system can now focus on disabling Tivat airport. Su-27 Flanker fighters based at this airfield have been intercepting our air forces and present a major obstacle to further Allied operations in Montenegro. We have been tasked with striking and disabling the airfield immediately. With Tivat out of action, Yugoslavia will be forced to withdraw its fourth generation fighters north to Serbia, where they will no longer be a threat to our flights along the Adriatic coastline.

Tivat airport is defended by an SA-6 Gainful surface-to-air missile battery which has successfully fended off several air attacks in the last few hours. If the opportunity presents itself we are to attack and disable it to make future operations in Montenegro airspace easier. However the primary objective of the mission remains disabling the airfield itself.

Objectives:

1. Disable Tivat Airport.
2. Incapacitate enemy air defences at Tivat.
3. Inflict as much attrition on enemy air forces as possible.
4. Minimize friendly losses.
