Glacier National Park is one of the most well known and most visited national parks in the country. Going to Glacier National Park in the winter, is the perfect way to get outside and enjoy the beauties of mother nature during the cold.

The National Park is open year round but they do close off some of the roads during the snowiest times of the year. We went there during the month of January, for a short mid-day hike. There was quite a bit of snow on the ground but the path beyond the roads closure was well maintained.

We hadn't originally planned on spending our afternoon around the lake specifically however during the month of January at the Lake McDonald Lodge entrance, The road closes off and thus our adventure in this video.
