PART 2: Fix Viking (Optima) 630 / 620 / 610

Описание к видео PART 2: Fix Viking (Optima) 630 / 620 / 610

*While editing the LONG original video all the cuts got mixed up & it became a huge mess so I apologize for these videos. Instead I’ve tried to post the main points requested by others on how I fixed the issue’s....

Part 2:
Steps I used to re-oil my machine & break up the lacquered oil from manufacturers. After applying your teflon-oil just keep heating & working the parts back n forth to allow the oil to get in and do its job.

Story:
After getting my used Husqvarna Viking (optima) 630 sewing machine I discovered the reverse button had no pressure behind it & wouldn’t switch to green decorative stitches.

After forcing the stitch dial over to the decorative stitches it became stuck in reverse & was extremely hard to move the stitch length dial back to white.

This is how I repaired my machine and hope someone else may find it helpful to do the same!

*I am NOT a professional nor have I repaired a sewing machine prior to this experience. My repair man was out of town & being impatient I decided to spend a few days learning how the inner parts worked together and from there I was able to solve my issue. If you’re having a different issue I highly recommend finding a local repair person thats skilled in servicing vikings (yelp is good resource if your in a metropolitan area)- sadly I can’t be of any help.
