European Governments in crisis
European Governments are facing deep crises but continue to avoid addressing the root causes.
1) In France, a crucial vote of confidence could determine the future of Prime Minister Bayero’s government.
2) If he loses, he would be the third French prime minister to resign in less than a year.
3) French parliament remains deeply divided, reflecting wider European instability.
4) People want leadership not excuses.

This is a Political Crisis in form of weak leadership rather than Governance System or fiscal crisis.
1) Europe is a large and powerful economy with weak leadership.
2) Changing people or Governance system will not solve the problems if the leadership is weak.
3) Europe is dominated by Left of Politics and policies influenced by Islamists.
4) Left of Politics solution to everything is higher taxation as though there is an unlimited wealth and resources.

Main Problems
1) European Economies suffering from low growth since 2008
2) European Governments incapable of addressing the underlying causes.

What are the causes?
1) Governments do not know how to generate wealth.
2) It is the private sector that creates real wealth, yet it remains constrained by high taxes and excessive regulations.

Geopolitical causes
1) Ukraine war - a drain on European economies until resolved.
2) Globalisation - manufacturing jobs have been going to China since 1992 - As though European Governments have been working for the Chinese.
3) US-Europe political rift - European politics dominated by Left of Politics, hostile to Trump Administration, straining transatlantic relations.

Excessive Regulation causes
1) Net Zero Green Policies
2) Restrictive Labour Laws
3) Heavy rules on Production and Services
4) Excessive regulation is a hidden form of taxation favoured by the Left of Politics.

Economic causes
1) High taxation
2) High energy costs
3) Persistently high inflation
4) High interest rates until recently

Public vs Private Sector
1) Privatisation of Public Sector has almost stopped.
1) European Public Sectors are too large.
2) Average 40% European economies are in Public Sector, compared to 10% in USA
3) Private-Sector is marginalised in favour of Public Sector through high taxes and over-regulation.
4) Successive Governments avoid confronting the Left of Politics and Trade Unions, leaving structural problems unresolved.

Addressing the causes of problems
1) Ditching Globalisation in favour of re-industrialisation of Europe
2) End the Ukraine War for access to low cost energy
3) Lower Taxes to boost growth
4) Deregulation - Reverse Net Zero Green Policies, reform Labour Laws etc.
5) Revive Privatisation of Public Sector
6) Encourage inward Foreign Investment
