This week is Shark Week! And I have had people asking me to make shark related content during this week for the past five years, but so far I have not done it. The reason why is not because of any lacking love for sharks though. It's actually because I have had a negative opinion about this television event ever since they made a decision to put ratings above credibility and lie to everyone with the mockumentary titled Megalodon: The Monster Shark Lives.

So I decided if I was going to make a Shark Week Special, the first one had to be debunking this ridiculous lie that has led to many headache inducing conversations over the years for myself and many others in the paleontology community. And explain why a 60 foot whale eating shark definitely does not exist anymore.
