This is a Red Raider Cocktail, which seems to have been invented in the “Mr. Boston Official Bartender’s Guide”. It's meant to be an easy to make, easy to drink and easy to recommend twist on a classic whiskey sour.

It's got a base of bourbon and lemon juice, so it looks like a whiskey sour, but it's been sweetened with triple sec and grenadine to round it out and make it a bit more fruity and a really nice summer cocktail!

So, let's get to making it!

Red Rover Cocktail Recipe
60ml Bourbon
30ml Lemon Juice
20ml Triple Sec
20ml Grenadine

Shake with ice, strain into a rocks glass with a large rock of ice, and garnish with a slice of lemon
