Here is the second album from US two piece Grave Pilgrim; expanding their musical territory from a historic Americana to even more distant and far reaching influences.

Their fiery bluesey black’n’roll is still infused with a sense of poignancy for a halcyon Americana, but thematically incorporates Prometheus and Apollo from ancient Greek mythology and musically, a brief centrepiece reimagining 17th Century English composer Orlando Gibbons’ "Silver Swan” from its vocal madrigal composition into their own form of melancholia, and a guest vocal from SD adds ethereal feminine textures in two tracks, punctuating the sepia brawn.

The production and tones in this album give it a softly focussed haze, with thorny, barking riffs and parched vocals dredging up murky memories from distant pasts, swept up in a emotive rush of tumultuous rhythm and melodicism.
